I just heard on the news that the Phillies, hot on the heals of the Mets/Santana deal, agreed to a 5 year deal with Joe Niekro!!

    Seriously though, my best friend is a long-time Philly Phanimage His stomach's been turning the past few weeks, with the mets getting JS and now apparently them taking their franchise player (Howard) to arbitration. You'd almost thing the same idiots were running the Phils as the Mariners... oh wait... image
