Anybody have a 1980 Redbook handy?

Are the 1956 Franklin Type 1 and 1961 DDR proofs listed?

All the ones they are requiring, plus a few more. They list the 34 Light Motto, Heavy Motto and Double Die. The 1943S Double Die (but with no values), and the two RPM's. They also note that a large and small MM variety exist for the 1941S.

The 1916 Double Die Buffalo is listed, for what that is worth.

For Wingrule, to be a little clearer. They do not list anything special for any of the Franklins.

I think I will keep collecting coins raw, nothing to worry about.

I found my 1979 Redbook, and the Washington varieties listed are: 1934-P Light Motto and Heavy Motto, 1934 Doubled Die, 1943-S Doubled Die, 1950-D/S, 1950-S/D, plus a footnote that the 1941-S comes with large and small mint marks.

There is also a note that some business strikes from 1956-1964 and 1969-1972 were struck with higher relief than some of the other coins from those years (the Types A, B, and C).

Why did PCGS pick the 1980 Redbook to go by? What is an arbitrary thing, or is there an actual reason that makes sense?
