Need a good laugh? OK, I'm Game.

In a totally playful mood, just answering the thread's title, "Modern crap vs old crap", one assumes it's some sort of

question regarding opinion, but to what end? So, purely at face value, as the title struck me, the first thought that

popped into my head was Modern crap is fresh and smells ... "fresh" uh- hum- whereas old crap tends to be dried out

if not petrified and devoid of smell."

    Anyway! imageimageimage
  • on topic from booms perspective,

a recent thought and observation i had is this, when i was a kid, i had a few dogs. i distinctly remember having to clean up the "old crap", it was always a whitey grayish dust like substance. What happened to this "old crap"?

I havent seen "old crap" in years.

sorry. its been a long night.

In this case I'd take the modern crap.

The Eagle is interesting to look at for a few moments.
It makes me wonder what sort of AT process was used.
It couldn't make it into my collection though, that's for sure.
The cent on the otherhand would be just fine by me.

    HAPPY COLLECTING!!!

My answer is really neither...but if I had to choose, I'd take the old copper cent. As a collector, it just "speaks" to me more than the ASE. It's that tangible connection to history that I don't get with modern bullion.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Some piqued me and I found this old thread.
Just felt like bumping at as I still have the 2 coins and *I* still like them both image
