White's DFX vs. Garret Infinium vs. White's GMT?

Hello Everyone,

Me again

If you don't know by now I am researching for a very good all around good metal detector. Mostly though I will be looking for gold along streams, and up in the woods where old river flows used to be. Also, I want a metal detector that I can take on the beach, a walk through the park, etc... Am I making any since here? What are the pro's and con's of each?

I got my DFX for its all around capabilites, a "jack of all trades" if you will... If you want to specifically dive into the gold prospecting market then get a GMT but for all around I love my DFX. Of course I have never owned a Garrets so get up with LordM on that. You can also talk to Zot about the Minelabs. I think he has had both an MXT and a new Minelab. He should be a great source of info on comparisons.
