Quick EBAY question-Title and Desc are different

I can't find anything about this using EBAY help so I will ask here.
What happens if there is a typo in the item description, but the description describes the item pictured in the auction?

Example: Title of auction says 1963 PSA 7 Mantle, but the description and picture are of a 1962 PSA 7 Mantle.
If you bid, and win, I am assuming the seller is obligated to send a 1962 as described and pictured right?

Is anyone familiar with the EBAY policy?

Thanks for any help.

The seller can't send you something that he doesn't have! What if the auction really is for the 1963, but the pic is wrong? How hard is it to email the seller and ask him about the discrepancy?

  • I have an email in, but the auction is almost over.
Ok...so he may not be obligated to do anything. Bad choice of words.

I guess I was worried about bidding on one thing and getting another.

Thanks.....I'll hope to get a reply before auctions end.

JD I would think it is for the item pictured and described. The title is prolly wrong. If you wanted the one described and pictured bid on it. If it turns out you were wrong you then are not obligated to finish the deal either.
