Can't find it in the Krause!!

It is not exactly cheating, I prefer to consider it creative problem solving!!!

  • Looks like a copper copy of a British half crown. Interesting piece - it looks old. Privately made copy or some kind of trial strike? Forgery?

    Krause lists a 1817 1 crown pattern in copper, but the design is very different from your coin.

    Unless I missed something in looking for this coin, it appears to be a counterfeit copy of this coin. It should be silver. More info is Here
