Can either of these Namath's grade a PSA 9?

Both of these are currently PSA 8 but I'm thinking of cracking and resubmitting for a chance at a 9... any opinions out there as to the realistic possibility on either of these? The alternative would be to submit slabbed and try for the .5 bump but I'd hate to lose out on the shot at a 9. What do you think as any help is appreciated! Sorry about the dark pics but hopefully you can still see enough to judge.

  • Both appear to be solid 8s so the 8.5 might be reachable. 9 might be a longshot
  • The only thing I could see as keeping those from 9s is the T/B centering. Looks close though
Next MONTH? So he's saying that if he wins, the best-case scenario is that he'll be paying for it two weeks after the auction ends?

    Prolly not 9s.

IF you are SURE that they are AT LEAST solid 8s, the best play
would be to crack 'em and send 'em in raw. That way, you have
a shot at the .5 and a slim go at the lucky 9.

  • They both look like 9's to me if re-subed, but with this whole new half scale grade, they would probably come back an 8.5
