What year is the penny brother? 1957, and that is the set that this card came from.

Nice send in item. Could be from 57 or even, maybe (but doubtful) 58.

    Good for you.

It is a 57 lucky penny card from the 57 Baseball set. It is located in the master set along with the unnumber checklist and 4-5 contest cards that they had that year.

I would be interested in the card if you plan to move it. I have some extra 58's lying around collecting dust.

    PSA grades this?

Yes they grade them. look at the 57 master sets and you might see a few in there. They are not rare in that condition, but PSA 7 nad higher will cost you alot. The 12+ unnumbered cards from that set in PSA 8 will cost more than my first house.

When I was a ute, I had the keychain.

I cannot recall if I sent the card in, or
if someone gave me the keychain.

I actually know someone who has the key chain. I tried to buy it but they didn't bite. I thought it would be a nice touch for the master set.

I do have contest cards that were filled out with peoples names and address'. I thought about sending them a letter asking why they wrote on their cards and never sent them in.

Now that would be funny. Receiving a letter 50 years after you never sent in a redemption card. Do it!!! On a side note, I just found two of these in a box of my dad's cards in the basement at my mom's house. One should grade a 6 and the other is well centered but pretty beat up. It was a pretty cool find though. I also found a cigar box of '51, '52 (small and large), and '53 Bowman football in unbelievable condition. About 50 HOF's that should grade 6 or above with many possible 7's and 8's. It was a fun week looking through all this stuff.
