Exactly....I have a PSA 8, and I looked for the best copy that I could get, and it is common to have some rough on the edges, as long as it isn't too harsh.
Super sweet PSA 8, definitely high-end, I've seen worse in a 9 holder.
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

I can't see the right edge of the card good enough, its under that little plastic piece. That may be why you think it looks rough on the right side.

If you re-sub that, you'll probably get a 7.5 now, so thats why you should be seing lots of cards up for sale!

chipping is even on psa 9 cards i've seen b4.
no escaping chipping, it's just how graders deem chipping b/c it's so hard to get away from.
