So I bought a 1952 Topps Mantle.....

And I couldn't be happier!
Its a beater, I know, but I still love it. Colors are nice, creasing and corners are the main problem. The price was very reasonable, especially compared to others I have seen. Its amazing how prices are across the board with this card in PSA 1 and 2.

And I will upgrade some day.

I love when vintage cards are used, otherwise, why would I want a card in PSA 10? For that, I would buy a reprint!
I like all vintage cards in grades of 1 up to 3, or maybe 4 tops, it gotta show some usage for me. I like to see the history in the card, not be in prestine condition, but I guess thats just me?
Congrats, great looking Mantle!

One thing I will probably want to do is complete a Mickey Mantle Topps set 1952 to 1965. Shouldnt be too hard.

Hell, you might as well go to 1969, since you have the big one out of the way.

<< <i>I won't rain on your parade, tho if I were in the market for a '52 T Mick, I wouldn't want that one. Nonetheless, it IS a '52 Mick and good to hear you're happy with your purchase.
Trust me, no one will rain on my parade. And spending that kind of money on a card isnt easy, and the lower grades are what people will go for. The colors on this card are amazing in hand compared to the scan. And for the price I bought it for, I feel I did very well!
