Who's your favorite Atlanta Brave?

Just curious about two things, 1) How many Brave's fans there is on this board? and 2) Who is your favorite Atlanta Brave player? Mine happens to be Dale Murphy

Chipper Jones if my favorite.

My favourite all-time Brave was Gene Garber. It's too bad that the 1982-83 teams were the only Atlanta team he ever played for that were fairly decent. Glenn Hubbard was always a scrappy player, too.

I can't stand the Braves (I am a Mets fan) but back in the day I liked Bob Horner.
Steve
Retired Braves favorite - Hank Aaron
Current Braves favorite - anyone on the injured reserve list
Seeking primarily PSA graded pre-war "type" cards
My PSA Registry Sets
34 Goudey, 75 Topps Mini, Hall of Fame Complete Set, 1985 Topps Tiffany, Hall of Fame Players Complete Set
then Chipper,
Then Smoltz...
...and Jeff Blauser and mark lemke! they were scrappy!
but i dug that Lonnie Smith
Francoeur is a good guy - we went to rival high schools at the same time (I didn't know him back then). I've talked to him between innings and have a game-used ball he threw me
<< <i>Carl Willey, who is also a close friend of mine.
dude he said ATLANTA Braves (just kidding)
Current favorite Brave - Anthony Lerew.
Actual Braves players? Nothing beats April 8 1974. Hammerin Hank!
I seemed to always get his cards in the 70s.
2 & 3 would be Phil Niekro and Dale Murphy.
Edited to add that I am in no way whatsoever a Braves fan, in fact, I can not stand them. The above three however, transcended team affiliations and opposing fan hatred.

My favorite Brave ever was Ron Gant.

Henry was before my time, but I venerate him as a Brave and as a man.
I've been a fan since '79, and there are only a handful of ex-Braves who I'm not okay with.

Ok, then Greg Maddux. One of the greatest pitchers I have ever seen.
Sweet Morsels Toffee and Chocolates
Maddux is a favorite too, but he's a royal tool to the fans.

2) Hank Aaron
3) Chipper Jones
4) Smoltz, Glavine, Maddux
5) Yunel Escobar
Tough to decide. Francouer would have to be up there as well. Escobar's story is a great one. Crashed on a raft, landed on the US shore, so he was allowed to stay. Now he's a starting SS.
