Question about 1972 Cook Islands Proof set.

I have a 1972 Cook Islands Proof set, That look's to be DCam, I recently read somewhere that they are getting hard to find. Is this true? I tried to scan it to no avail. But it's the one i picked up from tbirde56 (Brad Swain) it is awsome, I'm sure he will vouch for it.

I know that set well, as I collect 1972 proof sets (my birth year). I haven't seen them getting scarce yet and there are some up on ebay at the moment.

I know what you mean about them being hard to image though

That's one of the ones struck by the Franklin Mint, yes? If so, they are awesome sets and all the ones I have seen or had were of very high quality. This means they might not be particularly scarce in DCAM, but it doesn't change the fact that they're really nice.

Yes , lordm you hit it on the head......... it was struck by the Franklin Mint. And it is DCAM..............Even the little one-eyed guy is frosted....lol...

Very high quality sets.

Not terribly scarce, to my knowledge, but very pretty.

Nice cases they come in, too. And they even had an outer cardboard sleeve to protect the case.
