Is it just me or is this remarkably inexpensive?

Am I missing something?

Should this bidding already be over $100?

Quite honestly, I dont know much about this product except that i've wanted to bust a box fow a little while...

Thoughts?

Isn't this a blaster box from Walmart or Target?

    It's a retail box.
  • Can someone help me out here?

Is a "retail box" not good?

I just wanted to try out the product.

Why are some over $100 and this one's so cheap? Is it a different quality cards in the different boxes?

    Yo dawg

"Each box contains 6 packs with 5 cards per pack."

    Just six packs

I could have sworn I saw these boxes going for over $100...or did someone make a mistake and not know what they were bidding on....
  • Sounds like a blaster to me. The wife found one at Wal-Mart last week for $5.95. Pretty sure it was marked wrong. If you find one under $20 you should grab it.
  • Wal-mart has 5 or 6 pack blasters for 9.95. I have opened 2 so far and both contained a worn material card. Nothing spectacular, but still a hit.
  • Not only are there 6 packs, but Retail boxes usualy yeild nothing good compared to the Hobby boxes. Pulling an auto, or jersey card from a retail box has way higher odds then hobby! image

I bought a 6 pack blaster at Wal Mart last night for $6.97 I believe. got the following "Hits"

Dick Van Patten "Jacket" Card #/100
    John Travolta Platinum Proof #/25
    Jim Furyk Gold Proof #/250
Common William Shatner/Leonard Nimoy (ST Rules)
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

Hobby boxes are usually the way to go.

If you want some cheap fun then by all means rip a retail box. But just be advised they are usually lame.

    Good for you.

Thanks a lot Steve. Maybe I'll get the hobby box, just in case I find something nicer.
  • Probably the only retail box that was ever worth getting, was the Basketball 1996-97 Topps Chrome, lol. Does everybody remember that craze back then? image

  • Actually I like the 2007 Topps Chrome Retail Baseball and Football better than hobby. For the most part Heritage has been just as good if not better on the retail side than hobby. Many retail packs have yielded 2 to 3 SPs per pack. A&G Target Blaster were as good as Hobby this year.
