    good luck, i opened 2 cases and never got all the sps, had to buy em,the sps are terrible in the 2006 ones,i might have a few left if ya need em,i got one complete set with sps and 3 w/o out of 2 hobby casesimage

    Kevin-

    Hate to break it to you, but there are no red autos of veterans. I pegged the print run of the 07 "Group A" cards at less than 20 per, and based on how often they pop up, I would say the odds are the same for the 06 set.

    That being said - pull a blue Pujols auto!

    I'm still shy a few for my 06 set, so if any are for trade, I'd love a shot! I'm actually thinking about getting a case myself since prices have dropped to around 350 per.

    This is a case of 06. Ellsbury is in the 07 product.

    I feel like Kyle's cousin on the South Park Episode "The Entity."

    About halfway through.....nothing great yet. No golds....best autos have been Jered Weaver auto redemption and Anibal Sanchez blue auto....will get a few scans later.

    Here's the auto checklist, with the better ones bolded. Red autos are always good too. The bed news is that the Weaver auto was not produced, so when you send it in, Topps will give you a replacement card. When I sent mine in, they tried sending me a $1 Darrell Rasner Topps Series 1 auto, which I sent back to them. They then sent me a Turkey Red Paul LoDuca auto /50, which was better, but not even close to the $25 I paid for the Weaver. The other redemptions that weren't produced were Ryan Zimmerman and Kevin Frandsen. The rest should be good to go. If any of your redemptions say "Special Edition" auto, that means a Red Ink version /52.

    Okay, sorry not going to be picks since it's too much work but the case was pretty fun. Not as fun as heritage or the little A&G I opened but it is nice pulling lots of Autos and refractors even if they aren't worth a heck of a lot. This would be a nice looking set and I think I'll do chrome. Due to peer pressure I went and had dinner with my friend so I got nothing collated and I have some heritage cards I need to look through before I do that anyways. I needed something fun to do since I've been working so much (basketball season) and this looked like a good deal. Thanks Mudflap for your posts.

    Not too shabby, I suppose - Jered Weaver is a tool for not signing his cards. UD seems to have no problem getting him to sign. If you want chrome, I have plenty of it, and can always trade for autos in your favor. The only one you pulled that I still need for my set is the Papelbon, and not sure if you want to trade that one. I'm curious to know how sloppy it is - most of them are awful. I found one that looked halfway decent from a beckett member, but I never heard back from him. I think his had 3 squiggles instead of 2. I held out for a while before I picked up my Kuo, since he seems to suffer from the same crippling affliction as Papelbon. Just let me know if you see any chromes on my page you like, and thanks for sharing your break!

    And the Blue Mantle is the toughest - I believe the other 5 were printed in the same quantity, and are standard SPs.

    Nice break and thanks for sharing. Most of the guys you pulled at least have a shot to become great. You never know when you can
    turn a few of those autos into big cash. You can't go wrong with on card autos! I have the blue Mantle is you decide on a set.

    I'm glad this thread was posted. I just realized after reading it that I do have all the Mantle's including the blue one somewhere around here. I remember opening it up and finding it. It was a very joyous moment to say the least.

    HUGE box! I'm still looking for a Papelbon auto that looks halfway normal. Those 2 cards just about made your money back on the box. The Frandsen auto wasn't produced, so Topps will send you a replacement, probably from 2005 Bowman Heritage.

    It looks like the best SP to pull is Geovany Soto from the Cubs - he has been selling well lately.

    Ya, my Papelbon auto looked like Chinese. Didn't stay in the box either but I think it looks okay.....just can't tell what the heck it says.
