Matte Proof Lincolns for the week of Jan 23

A full set of MPL’s but not much beyond the Mattes listed for the Long Beach auction. In fact, not even Brian has any mattes for sale. I am afraid the well is dying up and could look real dry come Feb 16th. And as we all predicted the PCGS BV guide did lite up like a green tree after the FUN auction results were listed. Like many of you I wonder what the economic situation could have on coin values in general. But I still feel that regardless of the economic situation, these Mattes should hold there on due to the coming of 2009.
