Sorry for the crappy scan. It's in a holder and I really didnt' want to take it out. Eckstein should be in an Angels uniform at the time this was made not a Red Sox one.
This is one of the alltime great threads. I have learned so much. I had no idea Dale Murphy played for the Rockies. A lot of these players were in the twilight of their career, so most of us don't associate them with these teams.
One of the greatest defensive catchers of all time, Jim Sundberg, should have always been a Ranger. Would have been if not for an asinine manager named Doug Rader. At least he got to go win a World Series with the Royals in 85. Here's a shot from the Cubs.
"My father would womanize, he would drink. He would make outrageous claims like he invented the question mark. Sometimes he would accuse chestnuts of being lazy. The sort of general malaise that only the genius possess and the insane lament. Our childhood was typical. Summers in Rangoon, luge lessons. In the spring we'd make meat helmets. When we were insolent we were placed in a burlap bag and beaten with reeds - pretty standard really."
Larry Nance the former basketball player who recently returned to professional drag racing. He's certainly one big guy for a Pro Stock Drag Car, but he seems to love the sport.
<< <i>Hey, where did that come from? Did Topps do a "cards that never were" insert set or something? >>
Yes, it's from an eTopps set (I believe it's called "Cards that never were", actually). Can be had very cheaply on eBay. I bought my 52 Topps Ted Williams and Joe Dimaggio for under $5 each - cool looking.

It just never seems right to see Lou Brock in a cubs uniform, Frank Robinson in a Dodgers Uniform or Dale Murphy in a Rockies uniform.
