    The missing part of the r and the white cloudiness around where the a would have been seem a little off (e.g. power erased), but likely SGC would have picked it up. Tough card.

    I once saw a graded one at a show and thought the same thing about the "R" being erased or altered. I would guess the true error should be completely "R" free and not a shadow or blurred mark-right?

  • For what it's worth, in my opinion the Herrer "error" (hey, that rhymes), is a printing defect and shouldn't be regarded as a true variation, kind of like the 1922 no D cent, but the market will determine that, not me.
  • Final price for the SGC 30 was $1075
