Ending auctions early? See this auction...

I am just curious to hear how often this happens. This looks like it was a nice coin. What does the seller have to lose waiting a couple more days for it to end knowing the last 10 minutes is "showtime" for bidding? Can a wholesaler really offer that strong of a bid?

If you look at the bid cancellation, it appears that the seller canceled all the bids prior to taking the auction down, with the highest being $750. In my opinion, the seller should have set a reserve price and let the auction run it's course.
