1883 Hawaii dollar ?

One of my customers (I have a trophy shop) came in today and told me he had an 1883 dollar from Hawaii. I showed him a picture of Hawaii KM#7 on Dons World Coin Gallery web site. He identified that as the same coin he has except his is gold. Can somebody help me with a price range? He claims it is not plated but is actually gold. I believe its a tousit peice but until I see it I dont know. I haven't seen it yet but will in the next day or two. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

<< <i>The odds are high it is a brass or gold-plated tourist medal. My parents got me a set of medals back in the 1980's (all gold tone), and one of them was a copy of the 1883 akahi dala. I don't think there's any market value for it. >>
I have also seen genuine pieces that were enameled, so the possibility of a genuine, but plated/gilded piece is there, even if the chances are slim.
There's an example listed on the bay right now, ending 1/22, at this link.
