1715 2 Escudos

This 2 Escudos was consigned to me by a customer who paid 5,000 for the piece from a jewelry store in Florida while he was on vacation, I have advised him that he would be lucky to get north of $2000. Am I off the mark here, the only certification that he has is a certificate from the Jewelry store itself and no actual Mel Fisher paperwork or any other documentation of recovery. Let me know what you think, I haven't been able to match the piece up with any specific dies to determine year or mint. Thank you kindly.

I love Hyper-Inflated, Media Driven, Ship wreck coins that plummet in value once the hype dies down.
