Okay, now that Wondercoin has surpassed 10,000 posts he can choose his title apparently. Any ideas?

I choose Godfather of Moderns

    Wonder what he is going to use for his give away for reaching the milestone of 10,000 post (if he would open up his Kennedy Variety set, I would give him a suggestion or twoimage ) .

    CK - Funny you said Modern Man- that is something I was thinking as well.

    Miles Standish - hands down the "Godfather of Modern Coin grading" at PCGS told me yesterday he liked "modern maniac". Not sure about that one - two definitions of "maniac" - the first makes sense - "one with an excessive enthusiasm for something". OK - fair enough. But, the second definition - "an insane person". Well, maybe he is trying to tell me something. LOL

    The amazing thing about all those posts is that you were always positive and had something interesting to say. I can't remember you ever saying anything nasty, even when beset by the most lunatic criticism. You let their hocumbe, buncomb, and bosh impeach themselves. And it did. Well done.

    And, let's face it, who out there has had 10,000 communications over half a dozen years with anyone, even their spouse, without a single tiff? Heck, I consider it a good day - a real good day - now to make it through the day without getting my wife irritated at me for something - anything! LOL

    Wondercoin is just a good, honest, knowledgeable coin collector who happens to be a coin dealer as well.

    As far as name change, forget it.

    It is too much work for the bunch of us (over 50 years old) to remember a single name change.

    Mitch helped me get started collecting PCGS MS Roosey Dimes in November 1999.
    He sold me a complete set of MS Rooseys 1946-64 (48 coins).
    Twenty were PCGS MS67 and twenty-eight were PCGS MS66.
    I got started and couldn't stop buying them. Sometimes I don't know if that was a good thing or a bad thing.image
    If this question were asked in 1999, I would have given him the title "Mr. Roosey".
