Open letter to PSA

I would first like to congratulate PSA on the decision to assign 1/2 grades and I think it was an even better idea to not assign a 9.5 grade.
On to my request. I would like for PSA to consider grading autographs on autographed cards. Currently, all of the slabbed autographed cards in my collection are graded based on the condition of the card. Also, the autographed card registries (e.g. NFL HOF auto'd card set) are based upon the card grade rather than the autograph grade.
My preference would be to weight the autographed card registries based upon the quality of the autograph and not the card. After all, the value of an autographed card is mainly driven upon the quality of the autograph - and not necessarily on the condition of the card. I hate to compare PSA to BGS, however I really like how BGS assigns a grade to the autograph which is listed on the front of the card.
Food for thought - but if you decide to start grading autographs on autographed cards, then I will resubmit my entire collection to take advantage of the new service.
Thanks and have a great day.

<< <i>Greg, PSA will already grade the quality of the autographs. Then you can add them to the HOF "Any Medium" autographed sets.
>>
Your scans show, as Greg noted, they grade the CARD and certify the autograph.
Nice Nolan by the way.
Edit to add.....or maybe not. Sorry didnt notice "AUTO GRADE ONLY" and had never seen that before.
Clear Skies,
Mark
Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
