I just received my mechanical errors sub back from PSA this AM. There were 6 cards total that needed attention. I was worried when they first posted as a few seemed like they might have been labeled incorrectly again. However I am happy to report that all 6 are correct. Thank you to whoever at PSA handled these promptly and accurately.

thats good. i sent in about 6 a few weeks ago as well, but one was never corrected.

Sorry to hear that. I can understand some errors in data entry being made. I submitted all of these cards myself at one point or another since 2005. Zero of these errors were caused by myself, incorrectly filling in the card data on the submission form.

1 misspelled first name, 2 had card numbers missing, 1 omission of the word "refractor", 1 wrong card number and one had a piece of foreign material encased inside with the card (2001 etopps). It was a small piece of plastic. Luckily it was in a place that did not damage the card.

I am just happy to have my Premium Stock Mirror Reds back in hand. I hated having to ship them back for fear of loss.

i have seen people selling select certified reds, that were slabbed by psa as mirror reds, as mirror reds on ebay. some paid $100 for a card that is barely worth $10. It was a Favre. But now that person can have it added as a mirror red but its not. On nearly all orders I send in, at least those with 25 or more cards I average about a 10% error rate. I have had a Dan Marino Auto'd Inscriptions card come back as John Elway. A Favre auto'd card come back as Ben Rothlisberger. A mirror gold come back as a regular even though it says mirror gold on the front. Some of these are so obvious that even if you didnt fill out the form it should be correct. Now try getting them to slab the 94 TSC Miami Super Bowl Convention cards correct. The come back just like the super team redemption cards. I have put post notes on the holder pointing out the problem and even included a copy of the listing out of the beckett football card price guide (the bible) showing what the card should be. Still wrong.

I have a certified red at PSA right now. Hopefully they do not make that mistake on mine.

My Premium Stock Mirror Reds were labled as the regular mirror reds when I first submitted them. I called and they caught it before shipping them out and made the correction. When the cards arrived in the mail, there were no card numbers on the label. Odd things happen when folks rush and do not pay enough attention to detail.

I have patience in regards to some errors and what it takes to get them fixed/corrected because I am just a collector. However, I do not think I would be so patient if I was trying to sell these cards on ebay.

wish i had that luck....i am working on a submission of Mislabels for the THIRD time...they keep coming back uncorrected...i even sent scans of the correct labels and still no help..

last time i spoke to customer service, they said write with a black sharpie on the label, the correct wording...anyone ever done this>?

well my last time i sent in errors i used a post it note on the slabb with the correct label. however, one still came back wrong.

Yes, and the "mechanical" errors were fixed.
