Blurry pictures, playing dumb & no returns? I am certainly no expert on Russian coins however i think that this sellers coins are suspect. Also claims that he does not have a scale to weigh them. Genuine or not?
I can't tell from those pictures. Why don't you request some additional and clearer pictures. I'm sure he must expect questions with photos being that small and blurry.
If you look at the pictures of the coins he has sold earlier they are much sharper. Perhaps the coins didn't sell too well with such good photos!
I get suspicious just looking at the grades of these coins. They are too good to be true. If these are really genuine coins that he purchased in Germany he would want to make thousands of dollars on them to at least cover his expenses. Yet there are no catalog references, no decent pictures, no weights, no mention of the grade of these coins, no reserves...
Too many question marks in the auction description for me.
RUSSIAN? COIN MEDAL? SILVER?
I stay away from auctions where the seller tries very hard to distance himself from the product he is selling with ignorance. You might get lucky and they might be authentic, but I highly doubt it for all the reasons mentioned by me and others.
