1959 Topps Baseball Question

Hi everyone! I'm new to the boards but have been collecting 1959 Topps for about three years now. I just hit 50% on the basic set registry with the other 50% raw. I plan on sending those in to be graded as soon as I can. I have a couple of questions. I just completed my first sub with my freebies and was pretty happy with it. Thought the Maris was a sure 8 with an outside chance of a 9-it got a 7. Thought the Skowron was a sure 7-it got a 6. Everything else I thought was right on track. Could someone help me out and post it for me? Submission #4626306 Zip 39110. My second question is about the Spahn #40 variation-what do these go for now days? I just wanted to say thanks to all of the 1959 Topps collectors-I have learned alot from reading the 1959 Topps baseball-official PSA thread started by Don. Thanks Don! You sure have a FANtastic set. The pictures and information have been great!! I wish someone would get that thread going again.

    For the 1959 Spahn with the 3 in 1931 partially obscured, the last 5 PSA 8 sales have averaged $247.55. Those 5 sales were:

    My Pet Set.Anyone have a 59 Spahn born in 1931 6 or better?(Not Obscured)?I am 11 on current Registery Master set(Child Hood Memories).Would like to grade set out at a 7 just a bit shy at 6.87.

    Fiveniner, a great set you have there. I will be glad to keep my eyes open for that born in 1931 Spahn. Let's keep that 1959 Topps official PSA thread ROCKIN'!
