    Actually, I believe that I purchased my first art medal on 12/25/03 (considering the day, eBay, of course). I recently had become interested in the depiction of Marianne on coins and medals. The medal was designed by Dupuis and I describe it in my database as BEAUVAIS ET DE L'OISE.

    Now that you have piqued my interest, I went into the Forum's archives. I discovered that my first post was 9/30/03 and interestingly, I refer to a small collection of Persian medals. However, these were not art medals.
