At least it wasn't a negative. Sounds like he was just an uneducated buyer, but he should have contacted you first.

You know he's not too bright if he believes that the card stated anything...

    Here's what I did...

Can't believe the dip$h1t did that to you Tom. You now can leave a neutral stating the buyer is a moron and should be added to sellers blocked list. I added him to mine.

Its obvious that this buyer does not have a clue about graded cards.
Its truly a shame when this happens to a seller such as yourself with a impecable transaction history. The scary thing is that EBAY unfortunatly has thousands of uninformed buyers like him that just don't get it.

When I first bought PSA cards last year I did'nt know what MC meant either, but the scan should have made it clear.
If that's the worst that happens to me i'll be alright, LOL.
Good advise Josh, I will block him, he probably does'nt know what he's doing.
Just had to vent a little.

Hopefully the buyer will like his other most resent purchase, a collection of vintage japanese " pixie ornaments". He may consider using them for aiding his next bout of irregularity.

  • I would go leave him a negative right now. He already has 2 negatives vs. 11 positives. Get that fool off the Bay!

This is just a guess, because the feedback he left is gibberish, but I'm wondering if he thought (MC) on the label meant "mint condition"
    instead of "miscut"

He's obviously a putz! Don't let that neutral deter you. If I win that Webster rookie you'll get your 500th! (Whoops, I bid on it, but already have it. Oh well, I can always do something with a dupe!)

    Bob...
  • Tom,

I can't believe that happened, especially considering this:

I saw your auction, and was going to buy that card from you for
my son who loves the invincible movie

I just forgot the night it was ending

    sorry

Why in the world do you guys get so worked up about an odd feedback every now and then?

    Statistically speaking...its gonna happen.

Most people have common sense, they can see the many happy people....

and they can spot the fool.

Try getting your first negative in 8000+ transactions from a guy who says he never received a card from you. Then, when you load that cert # into the registry - he emails wanting to know why you're trying to "steal" one of his cards off the registry.

There are plenty of doinks out there. All you can do is neg him - block him and move on...

  • At least it wasn't a negative. I would leave neutral feedback with an explanation and then email him explaining to him why he received the neutral. Unfortunately, someone has to explain the ebay/grading process to him. Who knows, he may become one of your best buyers.
  • You could also send him a copy of this thread, but that would be a little harsh
  • I never used to agrre wuth this, but under these circumstances it makes sense. Don't accept bids from people with less than 20-25 feedback. These seem to be the ones that leave the odd neg or don't know the rules of Ebay. Better to miss the sale than deal with this aggravation. Let them build their feedback off someone else.

Great video. Now THOSE are bad days. A neutral feedback? Not so much.
