    Ive said it before, Clemens cannot win no matter what he does or says. Public opinion has already tried and convicted him.

    It's obvious he is pissed at writers/voters for slamming him every chance they have. People have said if he was innocent he would sue, he has. People have said if he has nothing to hide why not have press conferences and do interviews, he has. Now he is going in front of congress.

    I dont know if he is guilty or not but I do know if my name was getting drug through the mud I wouldnt be very personable either.

    You got it Barndog, there aren't many players who have played harder for that exact reason--Clemens LIVES to get into the Hall, where he thinks he belongs. This honestly could not have happened to a nicer guy!

    25 years ago you were Innocent until proven guilty. Today everyone is guilty by association until possibly,maybe,if you can afford a good attorney,proven innocent.

    Just because you read Jose's book, that doesn't make you an expert on this. Roger is willing to open himself up to everything by doing this. I am not for or against him. But every man gets his day in court. I have been guilty of convicting these stars just like the rest of you with no proof--just opinions. I just thank God that none of you will be my jurors when i die!!!

    You're right Carew, I don't know, and I haven't actually read Jose's book. But I do believe in karma. What comes around goes around, Roger's been a dick for a looong time, and the simple fact that he said he doesn't care about the HOF, well at least you KNOW he's lying about that. This guy may not have taken injections, but that doesn't deflect the fact he's pitched the last 6-7 years to PAD his stats for the Hall.

    You said it. He is so friggin arrogant, he probably thinks he can get away with lying.

    It all makes sense though -- he wanted to stick it to the Red Sox so bad (for not giving him more dough when he sucked in his contract year) he just had to get that extra "edge" in 1998.

    People please. If I hear innocent until proven guilty one more time, I think I'm going to die. For the last time, innocent until until proven guilty is nothing more than a legal presumption. A presumption that only applies in CRIMINAL MATTERS. And even then, it only applies if you happen to be sitting in the jury box of a criminal matter, for example, the jurors in Bonds' CRIMINAL perjury matter, assuming they ever get empaneled. And as there are no criminal charges associated with Clemens, any one of us is entitled to believe the Clemens is guilty until proven innocent.     Blackball the liar from the HALL OF FAME just like all the rest. McGwire, Bonds, Palmerio, Sosa, etc. Every god damn one of them. BLACK BALL them .... not one of these cheaters should EVER make it to Cooperstown. My hope is that 123 years from now this era of cheating ba$$$tards will be vilified WORSE then they are even right now. I don't give a rats a$$ if this is not a fair "trial" Do away with them. The records will stand UNFORTUNATELY. The Hall Of Fame voters have a chance to do some great justice. Let the court of public opinion out weigh the horse crap notion of innocence until proven guilty. Forget the teams these clowns have played for. It is a problem that goes well beyond the major league clubs. The message needs to be sent that this crap WILL NOT BE TOLERATED.

    BLACK BALL ALL OF THEM FROM ANY HALL CONSIDERATION.

    If he cared he wouldn't have even had time for that news conference yesterday, he would have been checking thousands of
    computer messages, newspaper articles, ESPN (several people on there have already said they believe he is guilty) and
    various other media outlets.
