As a head coach, Norv Turner has a track record of letting teams down.

If you love 'D', this game rocks.

What the heck is wrong with SD in post season? This is insane....

4th and 1 with LT and Turner and you kick a FG?

50/50 call I guess, but they are only down 6.

A moral victory for the Titans there. Maybe they just wanted to get on the baord. can't fathom why they wouldn't have gone for the TD otherwise.

Ridiculas that Bironas missed that FG, that was a chip shot for him. What I dont understand is why Tennessee has been so conservative? They lose their slim lead and finnally have a 20+ yard pass down field?
  • Why do people insist on blaming coaches when their team doesn't perform? I don't remember anyone saying that the Giants or Seahawks won because of their coaching, so it surely isn't the coach's fault either way. It's simply lazy to blame the coach when instead the blame falls squarely on the shoulders of the players.

Actually, there are articles on espn today regarding the great job both Holmgren and Gibbs did yesterday, main theme of one was that Holmgren's playcalling on the drive culminating it the Hackett TD was masterful and game changing.

  • I wasn't talking about people who actually know football, I'm talking about the overreactionary know-nothings who post 'it's the coach's fault!' whenever something bad happens.

Speaking of people who don't know football, neither announcer mentioned that LT was pushed forwards before his "second effort" touchdown by the backup tight end. His momentum was going backwards, and the TE righted him for the TD. Great play - don't know his name though...

    edit: was that Chambers??
