What is the highest grade a card can receive if it has these crimp marks on it? I received a raw card yesterday and it had these marks. The seller was kind enough to refund my money. Today, I receive a card that is graded PSA 9, and it has these marks as well. Did this one slip past the graders?

I assume a modern card?

Yes to the modern question. It is a Junior Seau card.
I submitted 2 Seau cards in the past, where I missed those marks. Both of those cards received 6's.

I do not know their process, but as soon as you hold these cards to the light, just right, the flaws stand out like sore thumbs. This time it is not crimp marks, but a slight bend to the side of the card. looks like the early stages of a mild crease is forming.
I guess today I will be going over ALL 200 of my Seau graded cards + the 100 or so soccer I have and examining them as well.
