I think you have confused this message board as the ANACS message board.image

Mine were scheduled to ship on 12-26-2007, the day of "The Meeting". I've emailed James Taylor, no response.

My simple reholder package was received by ANACS by December 1, and still not back to me. ANACS web site for order status still not working. ANACS telephone message gives open hours, but nothing else. Normally, I would have received my coins back by the middle of December.

Sure looking like ANACS is having more staffing problems. Maybe Denver turned out to be too cold for some workers, so they went back to Texas.image
I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.
  • I called and talked with the folks at the new ANACS office in Englewood Co on Monday AM. Here's some info that they gave me. Might be useful. They said that you can send coins in for grading at the new office. They said be aware that the zip code that is listed on the website is incorrect. It should be 80111. They said the turn around times will take longer until things get flowing better and the move is complete. I asked about when the ANACS website will be working completely. Folks dont hold your breath on this one. They said that the website was not a priority at this point. You can use the old submission forms that are on the website. Prices will be the same as they were. Only change was that return shipping and insurance is a straight $24.00 now. I sent a submission out yesterday to them and will post when it's returned. I sent Economy as I'm in no hurry. Hope this answers some questions about ANACS.

I could care less about new submissions.

The priority at the moment is to get back the coins already graded, and paid for. I had planned to sell
several of these immediatley and the "move" has really messed things up. This is starting to become
    really annoying.

I'm still waiting for the return of 6 coins that were handed to them at the Milwaukee ANA on August 9, 2007.

    Yes, AUGUST!

Couldn't agree more. I have 2 1878 7/8 TF VAMs there, along with a clipped Peace dollar and some really nice cameo proof silver dimes (should have sent those to PCGS- d'oh!). I have considered calling them, but I'm waiting to do so until I think I can w/o saying things I may regret later- that site should be up and it isn't. My coins had been final graded already and were headed to assembly when this all went down...I realize it's a business and changes like this take time, but those 70's sure made it to HSN quick. Yes, they're a bigger account than I am, but I hope my coins aren't being pushed off to a lower priority because they are swamped making those coins for HSN. I did pay for 15-day service...

The coins I was going to drop off there on 12/26 are on their way to FUN with a friend of mine to be submitted to ICG.
