Bob Knight - two wins away from 900 as a college basketball coach

Quite an accomplishment, more wins than any other college basketball coach. I suspect he has his eye on topping 1,000 and he
might just get it depending on how long he wants to keep coaching, at age 68 he probably has a number of coaching years left.

assuming good health, he'll coach 5-6 more years. He's actually done a good job with texas tech...taking what was once a pretty bad program into a competitive one. Granted, he hasnt come close to a nat'l championship, besides that surprising elite eight run a few years ago...but, you can't discount his recruiting prowess.

On another note, Sutton is two wins away from 800 wins. Looks like he dug himself out of his grave to coach a mediocre USF team for the rest of this season.
