Jeremy, I think you're barking up the wrong tree. There are no Pujols fans on these boards.

Nice set of gloves. Mine are from 2006 and the only ones released by the Foundation in 2006 (according to an email I have from them). Your display will probably be better looking than mine because I just went the quick, inexpensive route.

I didn't mean to hijack the thread, but I thought it was relevant. Plus, I hardly ever get to show them off, unless it's on these boards.

That is still awesome. The gloves are the main attraction,if you know what I mean. I have a friend who does professional matting and framing. Otherwise mine would be in the same frame as yours. I also have several other things I need matted,so he is giving me a good deal.
  • great picks on the gloves guys....im jealous

Thanks. Shane if you redo yours I recommend museum glass. The pics I took are kind of bad. In hand it looks like their is no glass. 100% uv protected and the glass is more non reflective.

a little story for my pujols friends. my daughter was with her softball team hitting at the batting cages last monday and low and behold who is there but lord alby himself. jose oquendo who coaches for the cardinals has twin daughters who were recruited by some D1 schools and pujols was down there helping the oquendos club team out.

there was a long line waiting for his autograph. (true to form i was no where near that line) some rogue did yell "albert you're looking a little trim." he snarled back, "i'm in training."

a humorous story about oquendo, he bought a 4 bedroom house in the st. louis suburbs and converted it to a 6 bedroom house where 13 dominicans lived. he had reconfigure it to a 4BR when he sold it at a discount. the neighbors when he and his countrymen left.
