Ticket authentication/grading question

Hey all,

I was reading the PSA web site and it said that they do not grade phantom tickets to events that did not happen. What about proof tickets? I have a 1958 World Series game 5 ticket that is a proof, as it has the game listed as 5, but the seats listed as X. The game happened so does that mean PSA will grade it?

Any help appreciated! image

  • Unfortunately, I've seen a bunch of proofs graded by PSA sold on Ebay.
    Guess what?
Some of the sellers left off "proof" when they listed the item.
Kinda like leaving off OC when listing a card

That's a shady practice by the sellers. I hate it when sellers leave off qualifiers in the listing, only to find it is OC.

Thanks for answering my question. image
