For sale here is a pcgs graded vf-30 large stars 50/20. The coin has been cleaned in the past, but appears to have retoned slightly. 850 shipped.

You must be mistaken, a cleaned coin in a PCGS slab?

Yes, it has been cleaned in the past. PCGS states that they will not encapsulate "harshly cleaned" coins, but that doesn't mean that won't allow certain coins with a light cleaning to land in a holder.
