discovery 1000 detector?

anyone heard of this detector before? It's only $30 so I thought about grabbing it just to have a little fun with.

I have not heard of that one.... some of the experts will undoubtedly be able to help.... $30 is pretty cheap.... so do not expect much. Cheers, RickO

I got one at a yard sale for $8.00...took it home put a few 9v batt. in it and let the grand kid have a ball with it.
