1862 penny

i was wondering if any one knew if a 1862 penny would be worth any thing, and around how much? it looks like this http://www.coinpage.com/coin-image-1469.html

    Looks like a single one may go for a few bucks at best.... Depends on the grade really.

    There's a couple rare varieties of the 1862 Penny.
    Can you post a good picture of YOUR coin. Both sides.
    I may be able to attribute it for you.

    The 6/G var. being the most common lists at approx. $4 (Fine), $20 (VF), $120 (EF), and $500 (Unc) in Spink (2007).

    Post an image, and we can narrow down the true value.....at least approximate it anyway.image

    Oh yeah, if it's an original cherry red unc. with blazing, blinding full lustre, and no spotting or staining, send me a PM.image

    There are a number of varieties - some are worth quite a lot. If you post a clear picture we may be able to ID the die pairing.
