New Year Grades In! :)

No 8 Reales in this lot to add to my primary collection, but I'm keeping a couple and few coins I'm planning to re-sell. Very happy about the N/W 0 Canadian quarter, as well as the Chilean Peso. 1939 Canadian $1's will probably be either a present to nephew or a giveaway coin for the forum.

1881 ----- 5 Fr ----- Fribourg ----- SWISS ----- AU58
1938 ----- S$1 ----- CANADA ----- AU58
1880-H ----- 25C ----- Narrow/Wide O ----- CANADA----- XF40
1939 ----- S$1 ----- CANADA ----- MS62
1924 ----- Rouble ----- RUSSIA ----- MS63
(c.1859) ----- Peso ----- Copiapo KM-2.1 ----- CHILE ----- AU55

Here are some shots:

Nice results. Never heard of the narrow/wide 0 25c before.

    Nice results.

The 1880 N/W is not listed in CCN but is in Charlton as C$1500 in EF40.

    Is it for sale? image

Roman, where's the wear on that Shooter? Were you expecting AU58 or hoping for MS?

That Chile Peso sure seems like a challenging coin to grade.

    Nice coins!

Bill, I was hoping for an MS. There`s a little wear on the breast, which I thought was cabinet friction and would still warrant an MS grade.

    Here`s a higher resolution shot:

Nice grades. I think they were a bit harsh on the swiss piece. I have a NGC MS-61 that does not look that good.

The chile peso is by far my favorite in that group.

Thanks everyone. It's nice to be validated in my acquisitions image

Bill - the Rouble is not really all that attractive. Just a clean blast-white coin that I picked-up incredibly cheap with plans of re-selling it.

I think we did - I got it at the same time as that 1880 Newfoundland 50 Cent with a worn braid.

Dimitri - I promise to take some shots once it's back from the graders.
