A fellow out here in CA does a pretty good job on graded sets: his eBay handle is prewarcardcollector... his name is Brent Hugiens. Phone 805 440-8903. He sure places great looking ebay auctions for the sets he consigns. Check them out.

IMO you want someone who has a perfect reputation, ships quickly, takes paypal, and has reasonable consigment rates.
JustCollect doesn't take paypal, which helps their bottom line but hurts you as a consignor. Jay Wolt at quality cards is all of the above, and I'd highly recommend him.

I have purchased from prewarcollector and just_collect.......all have been very professional transactions. Would highlt rec them.

I have also purchased from qualitycards also with no problems.

Taking paypal although is a big help for buyers..it was not a factor in my descision to buy....just quality of the cards.

I'll third Jay Wolt at Qualitycards. You simply cannot do better.

That's where my collection will go to be sold if the need should arise.

That Wolfbear guy isn't a bad choice either. Not sure if he takes on consignments, but his shipping is fast and fair. He packages cards well, has a great reputation, doesn't play feedback hostage, and takes paypal. Plus he has a cool message board name!

One thing that disturbed me with JustCollect. I asked them a question last week that went unanswered. They recently announced that they added a new guy to their business. Then I saw this new employee bidding on their items after he started working there. My question to them was, 'Do you allow your employees to bid on items you sell?' The question did not draw an answer or even a response from them.

Now I realize they're primarily a consignment seller on ebay, still I don't like employees bidding on items for the company they're working for. Other auction houses practice this too and I've never liked it with those sellers either. Maybe it's nothing to be concerned about, but you never know. It could be contrued as shilling.

I have made some purchases with justcollect and they did go smoothly so I would recommend them as a buyer. The packaging was top notch too. They do have nice large scans as well. Only negatives are no paypal and playing that feedback hostage game that many sellers do. Shipping is a tad high too ($5.25), but you can factor that into your bid amount.

Does Jay Wolt sell on consignment?
I went to his website and it appears
that he buys the cards then sells them.

Thanks guys for all the recommendations.
I do take consignments now & then.
I start the auctions low and use the 10 day auction
and pay within 24 hours of when the last auction is paid for.
Many times I even pay prior as I won't hold up several hundred
dollars to the consignor if I'm awaiting the last low $ auction to be paid for.

Cards must be in my possesion as I will only sell items that I
know are available & problem free and that I can scan the front & back.
My rate is 15% off the hammer price and I take care of all expenses
which include eBay's listing fee, eBay's final selling fee and Paypal's
cut. Cards must be graded (PSA & SGC) , too many problems w/
raw cards explaining each cards condition and cards should have
a value of $30 or more. Anything less, the seller won't make that
much and I break even or lose $$$ since the lower the card the higher
the % is taken from eBay & Paypal.

If I can be of service, please Email ( jaycos@qualitycards.com ), PM or call me at 717-259-8729...jay
