is it possible to have a coin graded and slabbed at a show? anyone had it done? gotta go, i'll check later and thanks all!

Usually, the Walkthroughs take 24 hours at a show. If the show was a long weekend, you could probably drop it off on Friday and pick it up Saturday or Sunday, but it's pretty expensive.

Edit: That is, if they offer on-site grading.

Yes, it is possible and it happens at all the major shows. Some folks may drop off hundreds of coins for show service, but the turnaround time is not guaranteed and the coins might take two days to be graded. Typically, both PCGS and NGC will accept show special submissions during the first day or two of a major show and will then announce when it is too late to use the service. In the past the fee for such has ranged from about $40 to over $100 per coin.
