OT: Is it too early to start drinking?

I'm an east coaster. I've got football int the background and internet surfing in front of me. I'm thinking only a nice cold beer in a frosted mug would make things better. Is it too early to start up the New Years Eve program?

All right! I'll take that as a green light then. Unfortunately, starting a little early makes it a virtual certainty I'll be asleep before midnight...but that was probably going to happen anyway.image

BTW, drinking is not OT. Beer is a very important part of my coin collecting strategy.image
  • It is close to 9.00pm here and a nice whiskey and soda is going down well.
    Happy New Year to everybody.

Why are you waiting? I'm in the central time zone, watching football while surfing the net and drinking a beer.

There's a simple rule to remember, as long as you can't still taste your morning toothpaste, it's OK to start drinking.

Now since I am settled down (happily!!) I don't have to worry about the beer turning a 5 into a 10 at closing time...now I have a couple and voila, AU50's turn into a MS64's....after knocking back a few man do I have a really nice high end collection!

Have a safe New Year everyone!
