1892 Barber Dime toning question

I am not that familiar with the Barber series although I very much like the design. Unfortunately I have only this one for an example in my Dansco(for now). I have nothing to compare it to.It looks like to me to be a strange color almost copper color. Is this a natural toning?
I took three pictures. The first is almost exact looking in hand. The second is with a lot of light to see more detail. The third is tilted to pick up the shininess and colors.

It appears to have been cleaned a while ago and retoned, perhaps in an album.
