Will the eBay exclusion of most 3rd tier TPG's keep the new ANACS and ICG viable by default?

If indeed the eBay action is contributing to the demise of lesser companies, since ANACS and ICG are on the short list, might they not have enough business merely because they are the only alternatives to PCGS and NGC insofar as eBay is concerned? Even without knowing if the standards that got them accepted will be continued and thus justify their inclusion, is the eBay imprimatur enough to make them viable?

I can't vouch for it, but someone here claimed they heard from PCI that their submissions were down 90% after receiving the eBay "death penalty."

Obviously you are not a Catholic!

Well, with the situation as it is now with the number of TPG's getting smaller, I really don't see eBay trying very hard to re-evaluate the ones that are left on their approved list, so ANACS and ICG should have some comfort in knowing that that venue remains open to their products. Whether or not Taylor took that into account, who knows. But PCI was available, right? Available but not eBay approved. Maybe that played a role, maybe it didn't.
