Photo Question: P&S with Macro Lens

I have a Sony W80. It's a pretty good everyday P&S but I was wondering if anyone had any experience with improving the macro capabilities by using an aftermarket attach wide angle.macro lens. Anyone have any experience? Thanks.

Is the macro lens made for the camera? If it fits, it should help things a little. Wide angle is the opposite of macro though.
