I'd say someone searched though a lot of pennies since you have many to sell in your auction. That would be the show stopper from me ever bidding on this pile, how many ever that is. Maybe it's just my way of thinking though

Hate it--just another grab bag type auction. I do know if it is against the rules either. Let me see now..If i bid $5.00 i may get $2.00 worth of coins or if i bid $10.00 i may get $5.00 worth or if bid $100 i may get $50 worth.,etc.- Not for me. And you certainly will not enhance your reputation with this type of auction.
What do mean by "The higher the bid price, the better this pile gets !!! " does this just mean you add more or you add some semi-keys or what? and then the pile is searched at least partially, if this is the case. I think that this type of vague auction should be banned by ebay. But good luck anyways-JMHO. Bob

Yeah, I like that. It adds to the unsearched credibility when a seller has every date/mm listed in multiples except the weekend a month they sell " unsearched" rolls

I have used item descriptions to make similar statements about the tactics of other ebay sellers. What's funny, and yet disturbing at the same time, are the morons who wrote him that don't get it. They think they have found one of the scammers and called him out.

Even though it is a farce, I don't think it is a good idea to run a lsiting like that... it is asking for trouble.

Jack I understand your auction, I hope that you did not intend that all wheat cents offered on ebay are searched, last summer I sold over 250 rolls of "Unsearched Wheat Cents" because that's what they were, I bought a bucket full from an old hoarder (not a collector, he just kept all his pennies like so many do today) that had accumilated more than 10 - 5 gallon buckets over the years. I'm sure that I could have spent a month looking at each and every one but I did not have the time or the eyesight. If I gave away a rare cent (I doubt I did) then I would have lost on the deal. I made a profit, not an obscene profit like some do, and was happy to get rid of them.

Sometimes you can miss a good deal by being so sceptical.

This is a direct spoof of the " tryly unsearched " guys who sell rolls by date, the guys who sell rolls with a semikey date on the end, and the sellers who have the byline 1909svdb found last week, etc etc, not a generalization of all wheat sellers as a whole by any means. I put this up on a dare from a person on another board just to have some fun. Please do not take it personal at all, I know your one of the good guys !!

I had to look at your feedback, then I saw two negs in a month. Luckily I read them, then I looked at the seller's feedback. Not only is the seller NARU, but all the accounts that built the seller's feedback history are NARU also.

I'm going to go ahead and end it early. You have me thinking....in spite of being fun, this could actually add more red dots.

Funny isn't it? Ebay has refused to remove those feedbacks, I have tried everything. They think that I and all the others that this crook negged should keep the negs on record, despite seller being NARU'd along with his shills. Seller also was registered under 90 days, and also provided false contact info. Freakin ebay has Balls don't they?

Yes, several board members helped to get "excellentman" NARU'd. He had several other bogus accounts he created within days of each other to trade feedback for low dollar items. Suddenly, he has over $16,000 worth of bids for items in stolen pics. Gave false name & California address. People here thwarted the fraud and still have negs for it.

$16,000 adds up to a lot of fees for Ebay, thats whats important to Ebay. Im sure he did not pay, thats why he was booted. Ebay has made it perfectly clear they have no interest in combatting it, so, I just deal with it and fixed up my about me page to demonstrate why I have the negs. If you dont actually search them out, it makes me look bad.

4 years, almost 2000 deals, it' amazing ebay will just turn their back on you like that. Go figure, I know power sellers were allowed to cheat and steal, take my negs off so it's easier for me to rip folks off already, lol.
