Any good Coin BlackBerry Applications?

ProofCollectionProofCollection Posts: 6,311 ✭✭✭✭✭
Just got a Blackberry (crack-berry), and I was thinking it would be super cool to be able to have price guides and my collection spreadsheet (currently in Excel) available when I'm out at shops or at a show.

Does anyone here use anything like that?

If you have internet access on your Blackberry, then you have access to all of the online guides (CDN, PCGS, Numismedia, Heritage archives, etc.). As far as your collection, you could upload your data to a URL for access via the www.

PCGS, NGC and Heritage all have online tracking for your collections. Heritage is probably the most versitile because it handles many types of slabs, NGC is next because they take both PCGS and NGC slabs.

I tried pulling up the PCGS price guide on it while at a coin shop the other day. Maybe reception was poor, but it seemed to take forever to load. I was just wondering if there was a special mobile website...

You can email your collection spreadsheet to yourself and open it with the Blackberry, but if there are more than a few columns, it will be difficult to read.
