    Great shot Mark. Here is a 50k cut out of a standard pic on an old 4MP Nikon dig. cam. Macro mode; no added lens.

    1807 50/20 half.

    With the newer SLR cams and lenses, a scope is a step backward.

    i have a stereo 10x30 and use it often. very helpful when you have my eyes. also use loupes. image

  • I use a Nikon SMZ-2T. It's awesome viewing. Still trying to get the coupler so I can get images.

    How about a vintage WWII German sniper rifle scope.

    I'll see your bunny with a pancake on his head and raise you a Siamese cat with a miniature pumpkin on his head.

    You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.

    I have a 30x and a 60x for the sole purpose of looking for RPMs, etc. I seldom use them.

    Here's my antique microscope and here are a couple of pictures I took by just holding up the digital camera to it using a flashlight as the light source. The pictures aren't great or anything but taking pics this way is pretty easy and more than adequate for me.
