Grade this lincoln in these crappy photos... (grade revealed...page2)

Not the best at editing jaggies and non-circular coin shots (ie....had to tilt the coin to catch some of the tone and made it not a circle).
My coin photo-doctoring consists of maybe correcting color (if needed, but not always) and circle-cropping. So, it is what it is...
Grade the coin and give a guess whether it is raw (in a holder), or the TPG that it is (I didn't take the coin naked...no way would I do that..I am not that brave).
(imageshack corrupted the photo which is why some folks had trouble this morning...I have removed it and re-added it...same exact photo from previous, just a slightly new filename....and, you can't look at the filename to cheat on the grade )

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

<< <i>Dang, either that's a real nice matte-y strike, or an MPL. Not sure if I see any diagnostics, though. I'd guess MS/PR-66 RB. >>
Dawg...nice sigline! "GO SEAHAWKS!"

It's a lincoln and copper has designations... RD, RB, BN
No one has attempted to saw "Raw, in holder" or "PCGS" or "NGC" (I will say it isn't one of those 3rd or 4th tier thingies)

I love the colors. I will not guess at the grade because I do not feel that I am qualified but I do know beauty when I see it.

The reverse glare needs to be photoshopped.

I agree about the glare...I don't know how to do that though....I have photoshop but all the different options are beyond me.
I just crop and paste

I bought the coin in a NGC holder. The picture I saw looked better than the grade. Inhand, the coin looks better than the grade given.
NGC gave it a PR63BN
It isn't MS but I don't blame folks...hard to see the rims in the pictures.
Pictures are pretty accurate, imho, for the color and luster.

Knowledge is the enemy of fear
<< <i>Would have graded at least 65 at NGC last year. They have since tightened up substantially on MPLs, perhaps a bit too much. >>
Having it, inhand, I wouldn't argue if it were a 65. Nor if it were a 64 (then, I would just think PQ 64BN).
I don't normally submit for crossovers/upgrades but I may have to renew membership to give it a try....we shall see though
