I think your political comment is out of place here. This board is about collecting, not a political forum for you to vent.

Usually I find that people who make comments about others' political speech are doing so because they disagree with the speech.

No matter how you approach it, political opinions and card collecting don't mix.

Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.

I have seen at least two others post political comments in their signature line BEFORE I posted mine. Have you mentioned the same thing to them? I didn't think so!

Edited to add: If you want their user id, PM me and I will give it to you so you can let them know as well, but I don't want to drag their name into it on the open forum.
Don't take what I say as the truth. I could care less whether you believe me or not. However, it's on their own website - I didn't just make this stuff up! Read it for yourself!

David this is at least the third time I have seen you ask someone a question and answer it at the same time.

IMO that is worse then your anti Obama posting.

Who cares if he mentioned something to them? Maybe he hasn't seen them yet?

When you got into trouble as a youngster did you always counter with: But Joey did it too? I bet you did!!.....image

    Good for you.
  • David... keep up the GOOD work.

That is for two reasons: One, because I already knew the answer before I asked the question. Two, he doesn't have the balls to come back and answer the question - which wouldn't change the answer anyway.

Because it is the fact that my political views conflict with his, is the only reason that he even brought it up. Had my political views coincided with his, he never would have mentioned anything. It is my signature line and I am free to put whatever I want to in there as long as it does not violate the board's policy and I don't need somebody like him telling me that I am "venting" when I am only quoting statements on Obama's church's website.

On a side note, perhaps you should read their website - they have a pretty radical (dangerous) way of thinking!

    David

I only read your initial post because I have some 1975 cards for sale, no more no less.

I simply thought your addition of the Obama message didn't belong on this forum, again, no more, no less. I have no axe to grind with you, nor any presidential candidate, be he/she Democrat, Republican or Libertarian. What would be the point to add more fuel to the fire, you obviously are already incensed over this topic. The board is about collecting, not political discussion. I simply chose to not further aggravate your childish response to my post.

As for having balls, I wonder if you now have the balls to offer an apology for the insult? I offer you the last word, as I have better things to do than to waste time with this foolishness and will not respond again.

Hey, I'm a conservative libertarian (but tend to vote for the R's), voted for Bush twice (and still support him BTW, but he's definetly no Reagan), and I'm a dittohead (Rush Limbaugh fan) and frankly vintagetoppscollector, I don't care if you're a far left socialist; as long as I get a good solid NRMT 1975 Topps set fully loaded with those PSA 7's, you're a keeper in my book!image I also hope you don't think any less of me for being a conservative of course. image

BTW, I too am going to need these in PSA 7 NQ myself as vintagetoppscollector's set does not include these:
    #1 Hank Aaron HL
    #3 Bob Gibson HL
#150 Bob Gibson (I'll settle for raw here)
    #620 Gary Carter
    #622 Fred Lynn
    #623 Keith Hernandez

The remaining cards I need are in my sig. image

I do not think that PM will be answered, nor will the apology to Al.
