Just an average non controversial coin question

For someone who is not by any means an expert in the coin world but wants to learn, my question is
Is there really much difference between the top 3 grading companies and their grading standards when it comes to modern non gold coins ie.Ike's, washington quarters,Kennedy halfs? Just curious.

I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the blanket of the very freedom I provide, then question the manner in which I provide it. I prefer you said thank you, and went on your way, Otherwise, I suggest you pick up a weapon, and stand to post. Either way, I don't give a damn what you think you are entitled to!

Quite the gap between PCGS and NGC & ANACS.
In other areas, such as circulated classics, the differences in standards are far less pronounced.
As an illustration, I offer this:
Current eBay auction totals for ALL coins from each service (the percentage of "70" grades in parenthesis):
ANACS: 962 (0.3% "70")
ICG: 704 (26.6% "70")
PCGS: 6,491 (4.1% "70")
NGC: 6,768 (18.5% "70")

Yeah, but ANACS has mostly become a dumping ground for problem coins. It's not so much that they are tougher on the 70 grade as it is that so much of what they grade these days is cleaned, whizzed, polished, damaged and/or AT'd.
